Thank you for your support of the NFPA Foundation through our Pascal giving society. Here’s a short video from NFPA’s President/CEO, highlighting some of the ways your company can benefit from the workforce development programs your donations are supporting.
COMING SOON – A NEW NFPA FOUNDATION WEBSITE
The new NFPAFoundation.org site is set to launch in the next few weeks and will help better connect educators, students and industry members to fluid power education and workforce development opportunities. The student-facing portion of the site contains a wealth of information about fluid power careers and fluid power technology – including a section where NFPA members and Pascal Society donors can list company profiles to serve as a recruitment incentive for website visitors. In fact, companies that donate through our Pascal Society will get an enhanced listing on the site – premium promotion to the students that we’ll be directing to the website through our many other programs.
BECOME A SCHOLARSHIP REVIEWER
NFPA currently offers two scholarship programs – one designed to help promising tech school and university students support their ongoing fluid power education, and another, the Fluid Power Robotics Challenge, which is designed to help high school students who use fluid power in various robotics competitions, to choose and support their participation in fluid power degree programs.
By serving as an application reviewer for one or both of these programs, your company representative will get a first peek at promising students who are pursuing fluid power as a career path. Numerous and beneficial connections between scholarship applicants and fluid power company reviewers have already been made.
