NFPA is offering up to $5,000 to help support NFPA member company fluid power internship/co-op programs. NFPA staff will collect applications and resumes from students interested in fluid power and provide members who apply with information on quality candidates for their open positions. If a member hires one of them, they will receive $5,000 from NFPA to help cover costs.

Thermal Transfer Products offers a complete portfolio of standard products available from API Heat Transfer. This includes a broad range of fluid power related heat exchangers (oil-water, oil-air, air-air) utilized in mobile and industrial applications, along with custom engine cooling models.

As a TTP intern, you will participate in JBS review, maintenance excellence, and support continuous improvement projects.

As a co-op or intern at FSC, you will work on real project work for customers and continuous company improvement.

Location: DePere, WI

Festo’s internship involves updating two demonstrators and pulling data from Festo devices to create dashboards, status, and diagnostic messages. You will use Festo-AX, Iot-S, and Node-Red to digitize the demonstrator. Following this, you will create training materials and train others on these technologies. Festo has an internship program with a more than 20-year history.

Internship and Co-Op Program Support for NFPA Members

NFPA is offering up to $5,000 to help support NFPA member company fluid power internship/co-op programs. NFPA staff will collect applications and resumes from students interested in fluid power and provide members who apply with information on quality candidates for their open positions. If a member hires one of the presented students, they will receive $5,000 from NFPA to help cover costs.

This program will help members find qualified candidates who are interested in fluid power and will help students get directly connected to fluid power internships, co-ops and full-time jobs.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be an NFPA member
  • Have or create a quality, fluid power internship or co-op program up and running at your company
  • Submit an application

Rules

  • Award will be paid directly to the NFPA member company.
  • Money is awarded on a first come, first served basis, once your job offer has been accepted by a student in the program.
  • NFPA will notify members once the annual budget has been spent, but we will continue to send student resumes to members if they are interested in receiving them.

There is no application deadline. We will continue to accept member applications until the budgeted funds are depleted for the year.
